The plant is renowned for its competitive ability owing to the large taproot it produces and its capacity to sequester otherwise limited water and nutrients

I love wildflowers and would much prefer to find scene in my yard than a monoculture of bluegrass

Despite the relatively deep snowdrifts presenting some fun challenges along the way, I was able to walk to a place that I probably havent visited in over a decade.
