The greater credit goes to the craftspeople of the village of Akhmeem in upper Egypts Suhaj. The fabrics that come out of Akhmeem have long captured our imagination, and fueled our inspiration.. Recently, we came across their vibrantly colored fabrics, in retro plaids, that made us think of sixties winter charm revival, and hence the warm, engulfing, quilted puffer
