A Rare Romanian Iron Guard Leader’s Badge certificate_of_authenticity 2 Course: Brieg – EllguthIn silver, center in gilt, 51mm x 51mm, of multi piece construction, very well made (unmarked, but possible maker is Resch, Bucharest), in slightly worn condition, and very rare. Footnote: Iron Guard (Romanian: Garda de fier) is the name most commonly given to a far right movement and political party in Romania active from around 1927 into the early part of World War II. The Iron Guard was ultra nationalist, anti communist, and similar in aims and
