In bronze, a circular medallion depicting the relief profile of Emperor Haile Selassie I, the upper contour of the medal bearing an inscription, the lower contour laurels and two crossed swords, surmounted by an affixed Imperial Crown, the reverse featuring an inscription, reverse pin, marked MAPPIN & WEBB, London, on the original ribbon with three torch clasps, 34. 8 mm in diameter, extremely fine.
