Saxony, Kingdom. A Small Helmet Plate consisting of a blue enamelled Romanian Cross with clusters of nine gilt rays in eac Luftschutz C(Sachsen Helmemblem). Constructed of partially silvered brass, the obverse consisting of an eight pointed radiant starburst, overlaid by a silvered Saxon coat of arms, the reverse with both sets of butterfly prongs intact, unmarked, measuring 9 cm (w) x 9 cm (h), with some verdigris evident, in very fine condition.
