In silver gilt, obverse illustrating two left facing male portraits and inscribed "MERITO DOCENTE NAVAL" (Naval Teaching Merit) above, on a pebbled background, plain reverse inscribed "CREADA POR LEY DE 17 DE DIC 1945" (Created by Law of December 17, 1945), measuring 25. 5 mm (w) x 41 mm (h), original ribbon, very light contact, near extremely fine.
