Constructed of silvered tombak, the obverse consisting of a German national eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, above a trapezoidal plaque bearing a raised date of 1939, the reverse with all four attachment prongs intact, unmarked, measuring 30. 28 mm (w) x 31. 06 mm (h), weighing 8. 1 grams, some loss of finish evident, in overall near extremely fine condition.
