A badge constructed of oval shaped bronzed tombak, hollow version, the obverse with a border of oak leaves tied at the base, topped by a Wehrmacht style German national eagle clutching a mobile swastika, with a Panzerkampfwagen IV superimposed in the centre on grassy ground, with its left track extending over the edge of the badge, the reverse with a barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a round wire catch,
