Constructed of dark blue wool, the obverse bearing a machine embroidered silver grey inscription of GESCHWADER BOELCKE, the reverse featuring a black cotton liner, unmarked, measuring 45 mm (w) x 460 mm (l), an example of a title issued to personnel of Flieger Geschwader Fassberg (later Kampfgeschwader 27, 154, and 157) in unissued and near mint condition.
