Portugal, Kingdom. An Order of the Tower and Sword, I Class Grand Cross Archive flanked by "19" on theInstituted June 17, 1847. Type II. (1833 1917). Two I Class decorations, comprising a Sash Badge, in silver gilt and enamels, featuring a white enamelled five point star with pointed ball finials and a green enamelled laurel wreath in each quadrant, a tower at 12 oclock, the obverse medallion featuring a sword with a wreath, encircled by a blue enamel ring inscribed VALOR LEALDADE E MERITO, reverse medallion features a book with the surrounding
