An Imperial era buckle, constructed of partially silvered bronze, the obverse bearing a central raised crown, within a ribbed ring bearing an inscription of GOTT MIT UNS (GOD WITH US) and laurel branches, the reverse with a loop and swivel attachment claws, unmarked, measuring 62 mm (w) x 48 mm (h), with minor scratching and tarnishing evident, in very fine condition.
