Jenkins, Canadian Engineers United Republic of a Landerwehr II Class LongIn bronze, a memorial plaque with name HOWARD NEWTON JENKINS, measures 120. 8mm (diameter), reverse plain, scuffing on reverse, light contact, lovely patina, in extremely fine condition. Footnote: Howard Newton Jenkins was born on December 13, 1889, in Preston, Iowa. Prior to enlisting in December of 1917 with the Canadian Engineers, he was a carpenter in Tacoma, Washington, USA. He was taken on strength in July 1918 with the 8th Battalion, Canadian
