Of fine quality French manufacture in silver, consisting of an eight armed star, composed of groups of seven gilt smooth rays, obverse centre presenting an upright gilt hand above a gilt crescent moon on a white enamel background, silver gilt surround with ORDRE ROYAL DE LETOILE DANJOUAN COMORES, frosted silver diamond cut surround, convex reverse, with makers mark on reverse
