(Franz Joseph I Type III 1866 1914 issue). A circular silver medal, the obverse depicting the rightward facing profile of Kaiser Franz Joseph I of Austria, circumscribed by his name and title in German, the reverse inscribed Der Tapferkeit within an open ended laurel wreath with a Trophy of Arms at the base, with an affixed suspension ring for suspension from its period original ribbon, measuring 31.
