It is smooth, with a flat plain weave that looks the same on both sides and it's stable in both directions. There is a bit of crispness in the drape and the color is sienna (PANTONE 18 1433 is close, but it's more orange than pink). Taslon (A. K. A. Taslan) is a high tech fabric made with nylon that is
